Popular Gospel Recording Artiste Kevin
Downswell just concluded a very successful 3-week Tour of the UK a few weeks
ago, May 1st-22nd.
The Tour was Mr.
Downswell's first time in the UK, and saw him traveling across four counties,
namely Derby, Birmingham, Nottingham and London. Dunamis
Reignz, another up and coming Gospel Artiste was also a part of this tour
and was also an opener for Mr. Downswell at each event.
There were also a number of Speakers
such as Evangelist Deborah Francis from the No More Shame Ministries
and Pastor Mary Wildish- Reece from Trumpet Call Ministries in
Montego Bay; who all delivered life-changing messages to the people of
Mr. Downswell returned with gratitude
from this Tour as it not only opened up doors for him in Africa, South
America and Europe, but it also gave him the chance to deliver
the uncompromising message of Jesus Christ in a region where his music
was known to some extent, but now has received greater impact through his
presence in that country.
The audiences were mesmerized
and deeply blessed, as he delivered some of his major hits such as
"You Make Me Stronger", "God Is Moving",
"That's Enough", "If It's not You",
"Change is Coming", "Already Done", "Close
To You" among others. He already has plans to return to the UK
as promoters and interested parties have already began dialogue with his team
to make his next visit happen quite soon.
“The people of the United Kingdom are
beautiful and warm. It is attested that “when they love you, they
really love you”, just like the people back here in Jamaica. The Jamaican
Diaspora supported the events immensely and it was a tremendous blessing to
have them supporting their own Jamaica artistes at the events. I have to
express sincere and heartfelt gratitude to Beverley Johnson, CEO of JLB
Shipping who hosted the tour/ helped to make this tour possible. It was a great
tour; and I'm looking forward to returning to the UK. Currently though, we are
looking to completing the video for “You Make Me Stronger” and I
know a lot of persons have been anxiously waiting for that. So, I
don't wanna keep them waiting any longer,” says Mr. Downswell.
