What is SPURR Music Empire? - Introduction.
SPURR Music Empire is an organization that was founded out of
Wendell’s desire to structure and organize the artist
management and music production services that he currently offers, so as to
ensure that he as well as the persons to whom the services are offered can enjoy
some real, tangible and measurable benefits.
The name SPURR Music Empire was derived from the objective of creating an entity
that could inspire positive movement, both in the music industry, as well as in
all other areas of human life, through the use of music and musical influences,
along with all the technology that is available.
SPURR aims to be prosperous in all it’s operations, by putting God – who
expressed his love to humans through His son Jesus Christ – first is all its
endeavors.
The operations of SPURR Music Empire
can be classified in one of two categories

Artist Management
Vision
The vision is to provide an organization and operation structure through which
an artist can grow and develop a career using his Art. The members of his/her
team or group members should experience the same structure and calculated growth
from which life and family planning can be done.
What SPURR offers to Artists – management
SPURR is committed to the highest level of career, business and personal
management of an artist. Each artist courted by SPURR will be assessed and the
parameters of a management relationship defined, based on the needs of the
artist and objectives of SPURR.

Personal Management
As an artist grows and the demand on his/her time increases, they may need
personal management. This involves someone being there as a planner, adviser,
contract negotiator, strategist overseer, manipulator, coordinator, details
personnel, traveling companion and above all a responsible friend.
With personal management the entire scope of the artist career is managed, and
monitored closely by SPURR.
Business management
In providing business management services, SPURR commits to the business
development of the artist. That is, ensuring that the bills are paid, payment as
are collected, business deals (recording contract, performance contract, brand
contract, etc.) are negotiated, monies are invested wisely and accounting books
are maintained.
Road Management
In the music/entertainment business the traveling and touring aspect, locally
and abroad is commonly referred to as “the road” or “roadwork”. An artist’s
personal appearance at a venue is key to the development of his/her career.
Hence, it is important that all aspects of the appearance are successful. SPURR
Road Management is committed to the successful appearance of artists.

Bookings Administration
Booking administration refers to the negotiation, acceptance, or rejection of
proposed engagement, proposed either by a booking agency or through direct
contact from promoter or potential employer for the artist. SPURR is committed
to ensuring each engagement and cost benefit meets the objective of both the
artist and SPURR.
